How To Change Your Past – Using Really Simple Exercises!

“How to change your past and is it even possible?” are questions that have more than likely burned through you, on numerous occasions throughout your life.

We have all sat down at many points in our life, disappointed at where our path has taken us, holding regrets over decisions we’ve made, and sadness over what we thought were good decisions, but finding out that they just didn’t take us where we wanted them to.

We all sometimes have some great advice to give to others to help them when they are going through a hard time, but who helps you?

I am going to endeavour to give you some really easy tools to use to start to help you with how to change your past, in order to help you change your life for a better future.

4th DIMENSIONAL MIND

As spiritual beings, living in a human body, and thinking thoughts which are created in a 4th dimensionla mind, from the astral world, we can visit the past, change our perception of the past, and therefore change the future.

We need to understand that the future is liquid. It’s not set in stone, and neither is the past.

Physically the past is what it is. We can’t change the physical things that happened to us.

But we can change the way we responded to those events, we can heal the long term damage that those events have caused for us.

As adults, our unhealthy habits, emotional immaturity and limited beliefs, are usually a manifestation of traumas that occurred to us in childhood, which we haven’t processed and integrated a healthy version of within ourselves.

Because of this, we hold unconscious programming within our minds and emotions, so that when we are triggered, we respond in ways that don’t help us move forward in life to where we want to be, whether that be financially, emotionally, in our relationships, in our career, etc.

Every aspect of our lives relies heavily on our subconscious programming, unless we take action to make changes to that programming.

THE ENERGY CHANGES

In order to make the changes we want in our life, we can often benefit from visiting the moments in our memories that still create a negative impact on our emotions. Wherever our emotions are charged by this negativity, we can be sure that we have a subconscious program in our minds which is causing us to respond in unhealthy ways to triggers we may not even recognise.

In order to make these changes, we need to rearrange the construct in our mind that holds tight to the belief that the past is set in stone. Time is an illusion, and therefore when we enter the 4th dimension, which is incredibly fluid, it is ever changing.

We have the power to change the fluid construct of the 4th dimension and when we do, it changes our past by inserting different responses, reactions and emotions to those traumatic events that we were involved in.

By changing those responses, reactions and emotions from the past with compassion and forgiveness, and a genuine wish to surrender the negativities and the connections to the event that is holding you back, you have the power to alter your future.

Because by changing all of this energy, our future reactions, responses and emotions will be completely different, thus allowing us to be open to very different opportunities and environments to arise in our future.

EASY WAYS TO CHANGE YOUR PAST

  • It can be done in dreams, but unless you are very skillful in lucid dreaming, this isn’t the most reliable way to change your past how you wish to. That said, for people who have learned how to do this, I highly recommend using it to your advantage – lucid dreaming can be much more than floating around space aimlessly!

Learning lucid dreaming can be a lot of fun, and anyone can achieve it with an easy step-by-step guide.

  • Many people use an energy healer, because with the help of someone experienced in working with past energies and changing how you currently feel about old traumas, you can achieve a tremendous amount in a very short space of time, and your life can easily do a complete 180 degrees after even just one session. It is through energy healing that I changed my life and was so excited by the changes I saw in my life, that I very quickly started the process of learning how to heal myself with energy tools.

  • Most people, however, work at changing their past, and therefore, their future, through daily meditation. As I’ve said, it’s not a physical changing of the past, but an energetic and emotional shift that has many desirable outcomes that often can’t be predicted!

HOW TO MEDITATE TO CHANGE YOUR PAST

Get yourself comfortable, shut your eyes with some soothing background music playing and do some deep breathing to enter into a lovely meditation.

Once you are relaxed enough, take yourself back to a memory that is causing you a few emotional dramas, but preferably not something that you still find so traumatic that it triggers you with severe and intense emotions that prevent you connecting fully into that moment.

Focus on every part of the scene: How old were you? What were you wearing? Did you look happy or sad at the start of the scene? Who was with you? What happened? What story played out? And what emotions were you feeling at the end of the scene?

Now imagine that you can insert some different emotions, different responses, different reactions and visualise the scene again, but inserting the changes into that scene – visualising how you wish that scene had played out.

Take extra compassion towards whoever was with you, causing the upset, and shower that person with compassion, love, peace and joy.

Have a discussion with the person that caused you pain. Notice how your own body looks as this child, who was you on this difficult day, is altering his/her future.

Did he/she start speaking up and letting her needs be known? How has the situation changed? Were you able to visualise what the child version of you wished to have received from whoever else was in the situation?

If it hasn’t changed enough, find a way to enter the scene as your adult self, and ask the child version of yourself what you can do to help.

Sometimes you will receive an answer, sometimes you just need to stand in silence with that child, supporting her. And sometimes she will come to you for a hug.hug-from-mum

Let her know she’s safe. It’s imperative she knows she’s safe!

Tell her you’re sorry that she once had this experience and that she can change the experience.

Let her know it doesn’t have to hold her back anymore because you are acknowledging how difficult it was and helping her through it now. Tell her you honour all the feelings she has. And ask her what they are.

Sometimes she won’t tell you in words but you will feel the feelings. Don’t worry, it’s only temporary. It will pass soon.

HOW TO SET THE CHANGE INTO MOTION

When you know what she is feeling, talk to her about it being ok for her to feel all of it! Tell her you understand and it’s ok.

Keep reminding her that she is safe. Tell her you honour her bravery for what she went through, even if she hid under a table. And tell her now that you’re here, she can surrender those yucky feelings. Tell her that she’s safe to let it go and to feel happy again.

And then give her a hug, and l et her go back to the situation, as the visualisation of how you wish things had have played out.

When the visualisation finishes playing out, you can allow the imagery to slowly fade into the background, hopefully hearing the laugh of a little child as he/she fades away.

You should now be noticing how your own adult feelings are lighter, happier, more peaceful and you have a renewed sense of compassion for the difficulty that you once faced in your physical body, but everything is now different.

How we perceive everything in our worlds, has a significant effect on our current circumstances, as well as our future circumstances.

Repeat this exercise as regularly as you need to. We all have many bad memories, some more than others, but you now have a key to changing your past and manifesting a better future.

Try this exercise daily for 30 days to achieve immeasurable change!

  1. Its amazing to know that we can change our pasts through only simple exercises! From your post I have learned on how to meditate and change my past, also I have been able to know that one needs to really meditate, close one’s eyes, and possibly stay in a silent environment to be able to get the most out of our past through carefully meditating and re-tracing our minds back to the past to know what and what really happened and caused us pain, which has affected us till today. It does get easier with more practice – I can now meditate on a plane, or train, in a noisy park, etc, just because of persistent practice.

    The hurts and traumas of the past are major contributors to the negative decisions we make in the present. 

    I went through a tough turf as a child and now that I came not unscathed with only a few scars here I there, I keep wondering how I did it. But I didn’t, I couldn’t do it. I was healed and I am still being healed by a supernatural power. 

    I believe that the spiritual controls the physical and can even undo the physical past, it’s that powerful. 

    1. There is so much strength and power and resilience within you, Peace. That is how you managed to get through with only a few scars. It is a tribute to you, that you were able to use those supernatural powers to heal, and continue to be healed. I completely agree that the spiritual is the cornerstone of everything, and if we can heal the spiritual, the energetic and the emotional, then the physical changes… right in front of our eyes.

      It’s so much more powerful than we yet realise!

  3. Hmm, this post is interesting and inspirational on EASY WAYS TO CHANGE YOUR PAST. I really love those hints recommended and especially thinking of checking out the recommended World of Lucid Dreaming program which seems great. But I want to suggest my opinion and what I live on that helps me is that “the only cure for a painful past is a renew and wonderful tomorrow “.
